Aniimo Egg Heist: How the Official Mode Works
Official Egg Heist is a Lost Isles mode: gather Aniimo Eggs, fight other Pathfinders, and evacuate. Check the live Events tab for whether the launch-week window is open—CBT dates are not proof.
Egg Heist (also called Operation: Egg Heist) is an official Lost Isles mode: team up or go solo, gather supplies and Aniimo Eggs, and compete for a Giant Darkler Egg. Open the live Events or mode entry in the current client to see if it is available this week. January 2026 CBT unlock text is not a launch-week schedule.
What Official Notices Say the Mode Is
Use these sentences as the mode definition. Use the live client for the current window and unlock.
The January 29, 2026 notice introduces Egg Heist: go to the Lost Isles, find rare Aniimo Eggs with teammates, explore solo to gather supplies, or fight other teams for a Giant Darkler Egg, with a chance at a Darkler-form Aniimo.
The January 31 notice frames the same mode as Operation: Egg Heist, a PvP mode: team up, gather supplies, infiltrate a forbidden area, and fight other Pathfinders for that egg and rewards. It listed an unlock of Veteran Pathfinder during that CBT week. Do not treat that rank as guaranteed on a September 2026 character until the live entry screen says so.
This guide is written for the launch version. Do not use beta-era guides as proof: systems and account flows may have changed. Recheck the current in-game notice and official FAQ after every update.
Eggs, Evacuation, and What You Keep
A later official CBT notice said submitted Aniimo Eggs are shared with the team after a safe evacuation. If evacuation fails, you keep only the eggs you submitted yourself. That is a first-party rule from February 4, 2026; read the live result screen in case launch-week text differs.
The same notice let Pathfinders evacuate after completing any one personal objective: personally submitting 1 Aniimo Egg, or personally collecting a stated amount of Eggshell Coins. Bring a team that can survive long enough to submit, not only a team that can win a fight.
- ✦Confirm the mode is open on the live Events or mode panel today.
- ✦Read the unlock line on that panel; do not import a January rank requirement.
- ✦Submit at least one egg or finish the listed personal objective before you force a fight you cannot leave.
Launch-Week Schedule Is Not on This Page
Community calendars in September 2026 list Egg Heist as a returning or always-on PvPvE window. Those calendars are not official notices, so this handbook will not copy start and end dates from them. If the live client shows Egg Heist, play from that entry. If it does not, wait—do not download a third-party “event unlock” tool.
Rewards still go through official events and Mail. A site that sells an Egg Heist carry or asks for your Aniimo Pass code is outside the official claim path.
Egg Heist Is Not Open-World Catching
Do not bring this page a question about ordinary Aniipods on the overworld. Heist is a Lost Isles entry with submit/evac rules. If the live Events tab does not show the mode, waiting is the answer—not a third-party unlock tool.
